Insanely brilliant
tUnE-yArDs is the music project of Merrill Garbus. In their live performances she creates drum loops on the spot, and layers these with ukulele, voice, and electric bass. Their music is a mixture of afro-pop beats, erratic R&B, jazz-punk, rock etc. They have released two albums (bird-brains in 2009 and whokill in 2011.
