Insanely brilliant

tUnE-yArDs is the music project of Merrill Garbus. In their live performances she creates drum loops on the spot, and layers these with ukulele, voice, and electric bass. Their music is a mixture of afro-pop beats, erratic R&B, jazz-punk, rock etc. They have released two albums (bird-brains in 2009 and whokill in 2011.

Egyptian hip hop

Egyptian Hip Hop is an electropop group of 4 teenagers from Manchester that are neither Egyptian nor hip-hop. Here you can listen to their tracks "Rad Pitt" and "Wild Human Child ".

The very sexuals

Started as a project between three or four other bands from The Nederlands, The Very Sexuals came together to produce an impressive and totally free album, which was released earlier this year. You can download their album "Post-Apocalyptic Love" and their single "Carla" from their website for free, but it is worthy to donate something and look out for album number two in 2010.

Γερμανική εξαμελής post-ambient-instrumental-visual-rock(!) μπάντα. Σχηματίστηκαν το 2003 στην Φρανκφούρτη και κυκλοφόρησαν το πρώτο ομώνυμο άλμπουμ τους τον Μάιο του 2005, το οποίο βρήκε εταιρεία διανομής μισό χρόνο αργότερα στην άλλη πλευρά του Ατλαντικού και συγκεκριμένα την ανεξάρτητη Graveface Records. Μάλιστα, το ντεμπούτο τους πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσει σύντομα σε περιορισμένο αριθμό αντιτύπων, 500 στον αριθμό, με την μορφή διπλού βινυλίου από την Denovali records. Το δεύτερο πόνημα του συγκροτήματος, που τιτλοφορείται 'Reverie', κυκλοφόρησε το 2008 από την Golden Antenna records στην Ευρώπη και την Graveface στην Αμερική.
